The Ultimate Premier League Grid Quiz

We've created a quiz, similar to a large tic tac toe, that will test only the most knowledgeable Premier League fans - read below to see the rules.

This quiz works best on desktop - we would recommend giving yourself 15-20 minutes, your progress will save if you refresh your browser.

How it works

Fill in each square in the grid with a player who played for both clubs
For example, for the Arsenal v AVL square, enter any player who has played for both Arsenal and Aston Villa
Answers are only valid if the player has been part of both squads in the Premier League
A player may have been part of a season squad without making an appearance - a youngster who never played a first-team minute still counts, as long as they were named in the squad at the start of the season
Some clubs have no intersection - these squares are marked and don't need to be fillted out
Squares with a small dot have two or fewer valid answers - Liverpool × Manchester United is one of them
Once you have completed as many squares as you can, press give up and fill in your name if you want to be placed on the leaderboard
